Salzachofen, May-2012

Kayak trip in Italy-Austria in May 2012. Fantastic river section called Salzachofen. Deep gorge that closes in one place giving it a cave-like feeling. The light is quite deem, the acoustics is absolutely unreal and the water is very turbulent and pushing from one wall to another. The whole place is surreal! One of my beloved river sections ever. Yet it may be dangerous to swim there. If that happened - never let hold of your boat. Otherwise you'll be easily pushed underwater and have quite long and unpleasant dive. The guy on this video was fine (didn't even catch a cold) but the experience was scaring.
