In this video we will look at what the One Handed God represents; his attributes as a War God, his association with the Wolf Fenrir and the events of Ragnarok. His role as the 'sword champion' and totem of Justice, Honour, Courage and Victory. We will look at related deities in other Mythologies, such as Anglo Saxon Tiw, the Roman Mars, and the Celtic Taranis, Nodens and Nuada. Finally we will look at the associations with the Tiwaz rune, the so called 'Victory Rune' in the Icelandic, Norwegian and Old English rune poems.
