Assembling of Foguang temple 佛光寺一开间拼搭

At Wan Feng, our exploration of mortise and tenon joints is endless. In 1937, Liang Sicheng discovered Foguang Temple, since then mortise and tenon in Tang Dynasty has been uncovered. It also ended the rumour saying that "China has no real buildings of the Tang Dynasty". Foguang Temple is 1165 years old this year. After thousands of years, it still stands firm. We love ancient Chinese architecture. We take Liang Sicheng as a model and continue to explore along the road he leaded. We hope that generations of Chinese people will be proud of having the splendid Buddha Temple Hall of the Tang Dynasty and the magical mortise & tenon of the Tang Dynasty.
