Creality Ender 3 - V2 - Dual Gear Is a Great Upgrade, Except for This One Issue... Let's Fix it!

I knew what I was getting into on this one, so I was ready! A video from CHEP showed some testing he performed and the dual gear was giving more accurate and repeatable results every time on extrusions. In CHEP's video he showed the aluminum below the gear wearing away and his solution was to add oil, which helped but it didn't prevent the problem. As an example, when putting a spool back to switch colors, I accidentally fed the end under the next line and didn't notice. Rather than the gears slipping, the printer pulled itself to the fixed spool holder inside my enclosure until finally it could not move anymore. After that experience I became pretty confident that dual-gear was the way to go. In this video we identify the problem and we'll correct the problem with the most basic tools I can find so that this fix can be made by just about anyone.
