She is our tour guide all around the lake on her boat, and we learn not only about Emerald Bay and it’s island and tea house, but also the urban legends of Tahoe. We leave Lake Tahoe heading to Yosemite and stop to see the apocalyptic looking Mono Lake before finding a National Forest Campground for the night. We wake up to frost on the inside of our windows and our hot water pipes frozen! The RV warms up quickly as we cross the pass and head down into Yosemite Valley. We were misinformed about there being first come first served campsites and try the lottery to see if we can stay! The night ends with sunset at Tunnel View.
