This week we're taking it a bit easier. First, we'll apply a pre-emergence herbicide to the winter peas so they can grow weed-free. Then we'll blow out the underground irrigation pipes to prevent frost damage. And finally, we'll apply a phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to the fields where we'll plant seed corn and potatoes next year.
