A glue book junk journal flip through of one of my altered vintage cookbooks. Full of collage ideas and inspiration! In this video, I’m flipping through a completed gluebook junk journal made inside a vintage cookbook. I filled this altered book with random collage pages using ephemera, magazine cutouts, old packaging, and bits from my paper stash. If you like junk journals, altered books, or gluebooking, this one’s for you. About This Gluebook I used an old Cutco cookbook I found while thrifting and turned it into a gluebook. The original pages are still peeking through in spots, but most are layered with papers I’ve collected over time. There’s no theme to this one, just a bunch of pages made when I felt like gluing something down. You’ll see collage pages made with vintage ads, grocery store papers, and scraps from past projects. I like using older books like this because they already have personality, and I don’t feel pressure to make anything too perfect. What’s a Gluebook? If you’re new to gluebooking, it’s a type of collage art where you glue found images, papers, or words onto pages, often in an altered book. It’s low-pressure and creative — there are no rules.
