#DIY #maker #mitersaw How to adjust your miter saw. After about a month of intense work, I'm sharing my thoughts on the Metabo KGS 305. Why choose a miter saw? It's not an essential tool in a workshop, but using it makes your life much easier. Many tasks are speeded up, even more so if you plan to build a dedicated workbench-style miter saw around it, which you'll soon see on the channel. My advice is to purchase one with the traction system, therefore the radial option, and a blade diameter of at least 300 mm, which translates into a usable vertical cutting height of 10 cm. The supplied blade is a Multicut and can cut solid wood, plywood, chipboard, and laminates. There are multiple operating options: simple cutting mode, radial cutting, and of course the option to tilt the blade both horizontally and vertically, or combine both. Another very useful option is the cutting depth limiter, which, combined with the traction system, allows for grooving. The start-up is soft-start. The dust extraction leaves a little to be desired. The motor power is 1600 W. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Link to purchase the miter saw: https://amzn.to/2HoIov5 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY EQUIPMENT CMT7E Electric Router https://amzn.to/2EyVAfb Bosch POF 1200 Electric Router https://amzn.to/2XoHRPl Makita 190MM Circular Saw 1600W, 220V https://amzn.to/2VpGApz MAKITA Hammer Drill/Driver Set, 10.8V Lithium Battery https://amzn.to/2SYOWrq METABO KS 305m Miter Saw https://amzn.to/2GM9rkG METABO Band Saw Bas 261 Precision https://amzn.to/2SqRR79 Bosch Router Bit Set https://amzn.to/2T14XNt DeWalt Random Orbital Sander https://amzn.to/2U8IY3u ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More videos on the workshop setup will follow.
