The truth is America stole our hearts long before Nashville did. It started on our honeymoon, a two and a half week tour through the South, from San Antonio to Austin to New Orleans. Total strangers showed us around their cities, a lovely couple in San Antonio drove us to food markets we never knew existed, we ate turtle soup out of a turtle shell at Mardi Gras, spotted gators in the bayou, and realised the South had a warmth and a way of life we had never felt back home. Nashville was the trip that finally made us say it out loud. We are moving.
