Gabinete de Crisis de Ficciones Políticas — Refugio Climático
How would we react if the economic and political order we know collapsed overnight? In this session of the Political Fictions Crisis Cabinet, the Círculo de Bellas Artes hosted a participatory space for discussion and experimentation in its Climate Refuge, using fiction as a tool to collectively envision new models of coexistence. Starting from an imagined scenario in which a global revolt against the privatization of common goods triggered the collapse of the established order, participants debated and rehearsed possible responses to a global crisis, exploring alternatives for building a new political ecology. The Crisis Cabinet was composed of Luis Arenas and Uriel Fogué, and included the participation of María Álvarez, Julia Ramírez Blanco, César Rendueles, Héctor Tejero, and Marta Peirano. This activity was organized by the Commissioner for the Celebration of 50 Years of Spain's Freedom and the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
