The Wright Stuff - 1910 Wright "B" Flyer (Checkpoints September 2018)
The Wright "B" Flyer Inc. organization hosted five USAFA Class of 2019 cadets this summer to take them on a trip back in time, with a flight on the 1910 Wright "B" Flyer modeled plane. Piloted by Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Jay Jabour '73, the cadets received not only a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but also a history lesson on the Wright Brothers, the aircraft, and its significant contribution to modern aviation. The event was made possible through funding from the Association of Graduates, and collaboration with the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the AOG.
