The peacock bass were finicky, requiring a lot of patience and technique with the lure. With persistence, I managed to hook some good specimens, which already made the day worthwhile... but the real excitement was reserved for the end. In the final moments of the fishing trip, I had a GREAT SURPRISE: an electrifying fight that resulted in the capture of a gigantic traíra! The fish was so big that I was unsure: is it a traíra or a rare trairão? Help me identify it!
