This is our first ‘hybrid’ Masterlink Session, i.e. Ross Stanley, Mike Sturgis and Stefan Redtenbacher were performing together live whilst being filmed by Leo Mansell at Masterlink Productions. The Horn House, Karl Vanden Bossche and Dave Limina recorded in their own studios (courtesy of Dave Minehan at Woolly Mammoth Studio, Boston where Dave was recording). The rhythm section was initially part of a test live stream concert out of Masterlink Productions studio. We were pleased with how the ‘The One True Coin’ came out and seized the opportunity to bring Ross Stanley and Dave Limina musically together on a video - Hammond organ bros only divided by the big pond. Karl is an integral part of the Masterlink house band - can’t be without him! And finally, last but not the very least - The Horn House - finally a chance to unleash them and get them involved - a special thanks to you both - Nichol and Tom! The Seawind horns would be proud of you undoubtedly! ‘The One True Coin’ was inspired by learning more about crypto currencies, bitcoin and the dark net, resulting in this artfully put together video edit by Leon Mansell with customarily brilliant sound by James Welsh.
