Tokarev TT33
A video by TaZ101SAGA. Covering the history, features and disassembly of the TT33 pistol. Please Rate, Comment & Subscribe. Thanks for watching! The TT33 is a slightly simplified variant of the earlier TT30, designed by Fedor Tokarev, who also designed the SVT38/40 family of semi-automatic rifles. The TT33 design is highly based on the U.S Made line of Colt Semi-automatic pistols, particularly the Colt Model 1911, in which many of it's features, most notably John Browning's barrel link system and disassembly, are almost identical. From a visual standpoint, it loosely resembles the Colt Model 1905. The TT33 saw extensive use in the Second World War by junior-NCO's, tank crews, officers or anyone that could get their hands on one; It was also supplemented by the widespread M1895 Nagant revolver, over which the TT33 design had many advantages. It has seen action in the Chinese Civil War, Korean War, Vietnam War and the Soviet-Afghan War. Note: This is a New Specification (Post 1995) deactivated weapon and can be legally owned in the UK with no license and is purely for display, reenactment or collector purposes.
