EP72: The Bosphorus Dinner Cruise is WORTH IT // ISTANBUL TOURIST PASS // plus I Broke My Canon M50 Camera Well...what can we say, this night was a lot of fun. Included as part of the Istanbul Tourist Pass (yes yes we bought the tourist pass) it was one of the few activities after hours to participate in. They arrange pick-up and drop-off from your hotel and it is advertised as a dinner and entertainment cruise. Technically a really good deal. The only catch is timing with everything happening in the world. While they do take precautions like taking temperatures and wearing face masks - there were way more people both on the bus and aboard the boat than we expected. There is assigned seating, and you don't get your own table, so this was the closest we've been to strangers in months. This was probably the most dangerous thing we've done since the world turned upside down...but luckily we came away without getting sick (this was filmed over a month ago). You live and you learn. Having said that, there was little we could do once the boat took off. So we rolled with it. Entertainment exceeded our expectations, there were more dance numbers than I can count. It was almost as if they were jamming any and all things Istanbul into the 4 hour cruise. We ate, drank and enjoyed ourselves - it was crazy to feel a small slice of normalcy in seeing and participating in live entertainment. Mason literally danced home (it's at the end lol).
