Lathe DRO: Using Multiple Tools

How to use the multiple zero points feature on your lathe DRO to handle tool changes, as well as setting cutting dimensions for production runs. I use a Z depth gauge designed for milling, along with a shop made mounting adapter. I would believe there are ways to setup a regular indicator to do the same thing.
