The Panther D in War Thunder is arguably the least effective of all of the Panthers in War Thunder. However, at the Battle Rating of 5.3 it means it'll face vehicles that are extremely weak to its 75mm cannon and its armour is almost impenetrable to vehicles even at its own battle rating! It's an absolute monster! The Panther D has a 75mm cannon that can easily punch 193mm of armour meaning that no vehicle at its Battle Rating or even at 6.3 is safe from it. The armour is 80mm thick and well angled so that only the Russian 122mm and British APDS can go through. If you wiggle your turret and hull you can pretty much bounce anything that's thrown at you.
