#Bomber #B52 #USAirForce The B-52 Stratofortress is a strategic bomber of the US military. It is one of the nuclear triad (ICBMs, submarine-launched missiles, and strategic bombers). The Air Force currently operates 43 B-1B Lancers, 18 B-2 Spirits, and 18 B-52s. The U.S. military owns a total of 133 bombers, including 72 Stratofortresses. The B-52 is an extremely long-lived aircraft that is still in active service 70 years after its first flight. It aims to remain in service until 2050, and plans are underway to convert it into the "B-52J." Military Channel 2 was created to provide easy-to-understand explanations to people with little knowledge of the U.S. military and to deepen their understanding.
