TRIBUNNEWSDEPOK.COM, SAWANGAN - The Depok City Government (Pemkot) began the widening project of Jalan Pemuda and Jalan Enggram Raya in the Sawangan District, Depok City, West Java, on Wednesday (June 17, 2026). The groundbreaking ceremony was carried out by Depok Mayor Supian Suri and Deputy Mayor Chandra Rahmansyah. In addition, several leaders of the Depok City Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony. Jalan Pemuda and Jalan Enggram Raya are alternative routes to Jalan Raya Sawangan. This alternative route is used by residents to bypass Jalan Raya Muchtar to reach Jalan Raya Sawangan. Currently, Jalan Pemuda and Jalan Raya Enggram Raya are only about 2.5 meters wide and are flanked by residential areas. Later, these two alternative routes will be widened to 10 to 11 meters with a length of 872 meters.
