Sturm im Atlantik 🌊 AIDAmar wird durchgeschüttelt | Biscaya, Seetag & Titanic in Cherbourg

The Atlantic is showing us its rough side on this trip 🌊 On the sea day between Tenerife and Vigo, we're getting a proper shaking aboard the AIDAmar – wind, waves, and a real high-seas feeling included. Arriving in Vigo, the AIDA is finally anchored in the harbor – unfortunately, Corinna is sick, so Robert sets off alone with the boys for a short but lovely stroll through the city 👨‍👦‍👦🇪🇸. But the calm doesn't last long: The next leg, Vigo to Cherbourg, is another sea day – cold, wild, and typical of the Bay of Biscay ❄️🌬️ But: We're seasoned sailors by now 😉 and won't let ourselves get shocked this time. When the sun even comes out, we enjoy the sea day in the pool despite the cold and choppy seas – cruise moments just the way we like them ❤️🚢 In Cherbourg, we decide to visit the Maritime Museum with its impressive Titanic exhibition. For us, it's a perfect complement to the exhibitions in Hamburg and Southampton – and especially exciting: 👉 The Titanic itself also stopped in Cherbourg. 👉 Being moored with the AIDAmar at the same berth where the Titanic once docked is an absolutely fascinating and moving feeling. Knowing that history was made here, while we're now docking in this very spot with a modern cruise ship, has truly impressed us.
