Official music video for "Closed Down" by Chainska Brassika. Filmed at The Coronet in London. Taken from the bands new album 'Harry J Business'. We filmed this video at the iconic venue The Coronet, right round the corner from where we all grew up in south-east London. After 128 years of operating, The Coronet has been closed down - like so many others in London and around the UK - for redevelopment for residential and commercial property. Something needs to change and stop this. The BBC estimate that 40% of music venues in London have closed over the past 10 years, which also reflects the pattern across the rest of the UK. That is almost HALF of all UK music venues closed in just 10 years. Without these venues our culture will be lost and there will be no where for bands to play.
