Diana X Koh Kood I traveled to Koh Kood from April 7-9, 2021. It's about a 5-hour drive from Bangkok, and the round-trip boat ride to Koh Kood is 1,000฿. I chose to stay during the high season, with rates starting from 8,000-25,000฿ per room. I got a beachfront room and a pool villa. It was beautiful, comfortable, and warm. It was so inviting. The food was delicious. I ate every meal at the resort. I was so impressed with the place. I'll definitely go back. The sand is so fine and soft! On Day 2, we chartered a private speedboat for 12,000฿ (there's also a group option, but I wanted to go private because I didn't want to wake up early, lol). We went snorkeling at various islands. The water was crystal clear. If you can wake up early, go around 10:00 AM. It's supposed to be beautiful. I went around 11:00 AM, almost noon, because I didn't want to wake up too early. On Day 3, I didn't really get to do much on the return day, lol. I woke up late, checked out, and then took the boat across to Trat. Next time, I think I'll stay for 3 nights. It should be comfortable. If you want to go to the beach without having to fly, I recommend Koh Kood. It's really nice, quiet, and very private.
