In early November 2025, we visited Jasper, Alberta for the very first time—just over a year after the devastating 2024 Jasper wildfire. Driving into Jasper, we were shocked by the visible wildfire damage throughout the area. Burned forests stretched across the mountainsides, completely changing parts of the landscape we had always imagined seeing for the first time. But even after everything this place has been through, Jasper still has so much beauty, wildlife, and character. In this video, we explore Jasper and share our honest experience visiting after the wildfire. From incredible mountain views and wildlife spotting to exploring the town itself, we wanted to see what Jasper is really like today—and whether it’s still worth visiting.
