PM Shehbaz Sharif Hosts Iranian President at Prime Minister's House

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Welcomes Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian at Prime Minister's House Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, upon his arrival at the Prime Minister's House, where an official reception ceremony was held in his honour. President Pezeshkian was accorded a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of Pakistan's Armed Forces. The Iranian President inspected the Guard of Honour, while the national anthems of Pakistan and Iran were played, reflecting the deep-rooted friendship and mutual respect between the two brotherly nations. During the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced members of the Federal Cabinet to President Pezeshkian, while the Iranian President introduced members of his delegation to the Prime Minister. As a symbol of enduring friendship, growth, and cooperation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian jointly planted a sapling in the lawn of the Prime Minister's House and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and stronger ties between Pakistan and Iran.
