Moorhens - Eggs To Chicks To Adult Birds On A Disused Canal This video follows a pair of Moorhens as they raise 6 chicks in late Spring on a disused canal. A 15 minute drive away mean't, I could (when conditions allowed) make several trips to this abandoned shallow canal which has become something of a nature reserve.
