PERFECT Table Saw Miters With This Simple Board // Bite Size #11 // Make Things
So many videos use overly complicated designs to make miters on a table saw. If you have a table saw sled with an accurate fence, you can easily make this little jig. It's so small you may even decide to attach it to your table saw sled! 1st Disclaimer: Yes, I do understand the concept of having a "V" style miter sled. I do understand different profiles require different angle cuts. If you want the "V" style miter sled, you only need to mirror the jig to the right side. 2nd Disclaimer: Your blade MUST be at a perfect 90˚ from your table saw fence for this to be accurate, just like any other miter saw sled requires perfect 45˚ angles from the blade. 3rd Disclaimer, or, just a note: I am not discrediting miter saw sleds. They are wonderful jigs that serve a very useful job. I just happen to think there can be simpler ways to do things, especially if you rarely ever make miter cuts.
