Mitski - Two Slow Dancers (Starland Ballroom, NJ 2/28/26)

Mitski's eighth album "Nothing's About to Happen to Me" dropped on Friday February 27th and to celebrate, she held an album release show at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey. My friend Lilly was generous enough to add me as her plus 1 and my friends, Summer, Chase, and Cassie and I were off to the races. I drove us down from NYC down to NJ and got there about 2 hours before doors, however there were still about 55 people ahead of us in line. The venue has our wrists numbered and we were allowed to go inside early before doors to shop for merch and then rejoin the line outside. Mitski played a bunch of songs off the new album as well as some solid oldies for a pretty solid hour and ten minutes. While there wasn't as much choreography as compared to the prior tours, Mitski sounded phenomenal all the same, if not even better than before. I suppose this is makes for the second album release Mitski show I've been to and that's rad (My first was the Be the Cowboy album release show).
