From Syria to Canada: A Refugee's Story | Mohammed Alsaleh

Mohammed Alsaleh is a refugee resettlement counsellor and a former youth worker. As the National Youth Worker with ISSofBC, he worked on developing and implementing a cross Canada leadership project that empowers newcomer youth to become future change makers and create positive social impact to strengthen Canadian communities. Mohammed is an activist who was forced to leave Syria for his involvement in the Syrian peaceful upraising. Arriving to Canada as a refugee two years ago, he resumed his activism as volunteer and a public speaker helping other refugees settle in BC.
