Professor Oh Kang-nam has been a visiting professor at several universities in North America and Seoul National University, the president of the North American Korean Religious Studies Association, and the co-chair of the Korean Religion Division of the American Society of Religious Studies. He is the author of bestsellers such as “There is no Jesus,” “Zhuangzi,” “Tao Te Ching,” “What is the difference between true religion and religion,” and “What is religion?” After retiring in 2006, he has continued to give lectures and lectures in North America and Korea. Raised in a Protestant family, he studied Christianity as his foundation until he was a student at Seoul National University’s Department of Religious Studies and its graduate school.
