The gold in this has inspired me to do a series named' Liquid Gold' so this is the first one. I might try a different brand of gold next time. Base/Pillow: British Paints Brilliant White mixed with a splash of both Pebeo Bindex and GAC 800 Colours: Pebeo Iridescent Precious Gold Pearlex Interference Blue #TLP (This Little Piggy)in Macaw Matisse Ultramarine Matisse Southern Ocean Blue Atelier Cobalt Turquoise No silicone added to any paints. All colours and pigments mixed with untinted house paint and Jo Sonja gloss varnish. I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around and inch above the surface. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, the smaller ones are from Mont Marte and the large one I use sometimes is a brand called The Art Studio and was bought from an independent art store.
