TAAT makes dry season farming easy for rice farmers in Nigeria

To achieve this, the Water Enabler Compact of the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT-WEC) established demonstration fields and trained about 2,000 youths in Gidan Mai-Akuya, Madagba, Azuba-Bashayi communities in Nasarawa state. In partnership with the TAAT Rice Compact, the Water Enabler compact also introduced farmers and processors at the Bukan Sidi-Lafia Innovation Platform to modern technologies in water-efficient irrigation systems which makes dry season cultivation easier.
