Parishioners of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, Conn., made a special pilgrimage earlier this year in honor of Father Michael McGivney. Traveling by train from Waterbury, his hometown, to Thomaston, where he died in 1890, they celebrated Mass on the very site of his last parish assignment.
