I Got the Anycubic S1 Max! Honest First Thoughts After My First Failed Print

The Anycubic S1 Max finally arrived and I was seriously excited to get this massive 3D printer up and running. The build volume is impressive, setup was pretty straightforward, and I couldn’t wait to start printing some large comic book stands and display pieces. But after my first real print, things didn’t go perfectly… During a filament switch after the printer ran out, something went wrong and it completely wrecked the comic book stand I was printing. In this video I go over my honest first impressions of the S1 Max, what I like so far, what concerns me, and whether I think this printer still has huge potential. This isn’t a hate video — I’m actually happy to finally have the printer — but I also want to be honest about the issues I’m already running into.
