Rue Georges Clemenceau is one of the main street that leads to the city center. You can easily find it if you arrive in Carcassonne with the train or the bus because is in front of the train and bus stations. During the weekend (depending on the month) there are markets here of second hand book and clothes. Few nice restaurants and bars are located on this Rue as well as shops and hotels. Don't miss to get a coffee in Place Carnot which is near the bottom of the road.
