Acrosyndromes (Sd de Raynaud, érythermalgie, acrocyanose, engelure, ischémie digitale) item 239

A vascular acrosyndrome is a vasomotor disorder of the extremities. This term covers several pathologies: Raynaud's phenomenon, acrocyanosis, erythermalgia, chilblains, and digital ischemia. They can be divided into vasomotor acrosyndromes and trophic acrosyndromes: • Vasomotor acrosyndromes are: – either paroxysmal, such as Raynaud's phenomenon (the most common) and erythermalgia, – or permanent, such as acrocyanosis; • Trophic acrosyndromes include chilblains, which recur during the cold season, and digital ischemia, which is generally acute and constitutes an emergency due to the risk of necrosis. This course is based on the "DERMATOLOGY" reference framework written by the Collège des Professeurs en Dermatologie de France and published by Elsevier MASSON. It is intended for medical students in the second to sixth years.
