[作画 MAD/AMV] Yoshimichi Kameda (亀田祥倫) Sakuga

Super Animator : Yoshimichi Kameda (亀田祥倫). After Kameda graduated from art college, he applied to join Gainax because he greatly admired Hiroyuki Imaishi, but was turned down. In 2006 he applied to join AIC, which was working as a sub-contract studio for Gainax's Petite Princess Yucie and was accepted. He debuted as a Key Animator in Special A (S.A) but it wasn't until Full Metal Alchemist #19 that he took a huge leap in popularity thanks to his work. At that time he stood out for using a brush inspired by Kazuaki Morita, so he tried to imitate him. Later he decided that he would use the brush for his impact frames, just like Masahito Yamashita and Yoshinori Kanada did at the time. Kameda's main inspiration is Imaishi and the Kanada style, but he later added the style of Soul Eater's Yutaka Nakamura, generating his own combination. He mentions that everything he learned was thanks to Imaishi's doujinshi, Kanada's work videos, and Keisuke Watabe's collection of original drawings. One of Kameda's most prominent projects is One Punch Man, for which he was requested by Yuuichirou Fukushi to participate as one of the 4 Main Action Animators (called Four Heavenly Kings). He actively participated in 5 episodes, but in 9 it was where he was assigned the role of Animation Director, making layouts, corrections and working a lot in the post production. His next representative job was Mob Psycho 100, for which he was requested while he was still working on One Punch Man because animator Kumiko Takahashi recommended him. In this series he did Character Design, Key Animation, and served as Animation Director for many episodes. Kameda's hand turned Mob Psycho 100 into one of the most malleable projects in the Kanada style, but even so he did not impose that style because he enjoys seeing different styles in each episode. Kameda's animation is very frenetic, full of dynamism in each movement of the characters, sometimes very exaggerated but always very precise and full of expressiveness. As if his work wasn't particular enough, he uses a sumi-e brush (paint brush), making much thicker and "dirtier" outlines to add even more expressiveness to his animation. He also implements a lot of impact frames in which he tends to let all of his creativity out, making impact frames very Kanada-inspired but with similar creativity to Yutaka Nakamura. Sakuga (作画) literally means drawing. It is not something specific like "super spectacular animation", but the term is used to define a well animated sequence and that's it, good animation. Animation is fundamentally movement, so a sequence with good movement is already good animation / sakuga, the effects and uses of cinematography are only added to the base.
