https://asimplyfab.life/ The Grand Rover Voyager is a bespoke Land Rover Defender Overland conversion with a twist. A self-build combining components from the past sixty years of Land Rover brilliance (actually all the best bits) for a world overland expedition. What was originally a 110 dating from 1985 now sports a galvanised chassis, a 300Tdi, a host of other mods geared for a circumnavigation of the world - and an augmentation to the 4x4 chassis. We take a quick walk around the vehicle with the car builder Tony Johnson, who will be embarking on a voyage around the world with his wife Nikki. But all is not as it seems as it turns out this is a 6x6 Defender conversion. It was built in a shed in the UK somewhere in Wales. It is not often that you get to see a vehicle builder with his own registered vehicle type.
