BGT Ashleigh Butler wins Crufts prize with Pudsey lookalike Sully

She lost her beloved pet Pudsey in July.But Britain's Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler received another huge prize on Sunday with her new furry partner Sully, as the pair won gold in a Crufts agility event.The 23-year-old entered Sully under a fake name for the prestigious dog competition, with the Border Collie cross a dead ringer for Pudsey as he was awarded the honour.Ashleigh entered Sully for the agility competition under the alias The Closet Monster of Ashpen, with the pair eventually coming out on top with the gold prize. After her victory she told The Sun: 'It was a very sad Crufts, as it was the first time I'd not competed with Pudsey for a long time, but the championship win was for him as well.'I definitely thought Pudsey was with us cheering Sully and me on.' Ashleigh announced Pudsey's passing back in July, after the dog was diagnosed with leukaemia and had to be put to sleep at the age of 11.And after saying goodbye to her beloved pal, Ashleigh told MailOnline last year she would continue performing with her second dog Sully.She said: 'I have had Sully from a puppy - he is now four years old and has grown up with Pudsey,' she said.'He never was and isn't a direct replacement for Pudsey, as Pudsey can never be replaced.Ashleigh added: 'Sully idolised Pudsey, looking up to him. They went everywhere together, competing and more recently performing together at various stage shows.'Sully is heartbroken and pining for Pudsey as I am.'
