Alfa Romeo Stelvio - Allradgetriebener Diesel bringt Bums bei geringem Verbrauch + tollem Sound
This mid-size SUV from the iconic Italian brand arrived on the local market in 2017. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio recently received a facelift, but electric powertrains are not available. So, for those who want or need to drive long distances, a diesel engine remains the best choice. For our test, we opted for the 210 hp diesel in the Ti trim. The 190 hp diesel is no longer offered. Incidentally, the 160 hp gasoline engine also fell victim to the current parts shortage in production. Larger engines simply generate more profit. This isn't just true for the Stellantis Group, to which the Alfa Romeo brand now belongs. As a result, prices no longer start below €50,000, but rather at €57,500. Our test vehicle, equipped with the 210 hp diesel, Ti trim, and several options, came to €65,000. That's no longer a bargain. Anyone worried about the resale value of a diesel could opt for a lease and enjoy the fuel-efficient engine without hesitation. Italian mid-size car with plenty of space Because when it comes to fuel consumption, diesel is and remains a top performer. Alfa Romeo quotes 5.5 to 5.7 liters per 100 kilometers. After our everyday test, which wasn't focused on minimizing fuel consumption, we recorded about a liter more. Those who drive with a light foot can certainly achieve the WLTP figure. Anyone familiar with diesel engines will appreciate the satisfying surge of power they can generate. In other words, the readily available torque. While it doesn't quite match a pure electric drive, it's just as enjoyable. However, the diesel sound of this four-cylinder inline engine is always present. We recorded the Stelvio's acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds with this diesel engine. The Italian SUV reaches its top speed of 215 km/h thanks to its 470 Nm of torque. As one would expect from an Alfa Romeo, the Stelvio is designed for sportiness. With its standard all-wheel drive, it delivers a particularly enjoyable driving experience, especially in fast corners and in Dynamic mode. The interior of the 4.69-meter-long and 1.90-meter-wide Stelvio offers a mid-range feel in terms of quality. The design and the size of the screen reveal that the Stelvio was developed some time ago. I appreciate that not everything is digital yet. I also like the rotary push-button controller. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are important to me, and these are available, as is wireless (inductive) smartphone charging. Prices start at €57,500. Conclusion: I like sporty mid-size SUVs. Therefore, I also like the Stelvio. Why? Because they are big enough, but not too big. Whether for a holiday or a big grocery shop, it simply has plenty of room. And I'm still a diesel fan because they're powerful, offer dynamic torque, and are fuel-efficient. And of course, I also like the classic Alfa design, which is instantly recognizable. Would I buy it? Probably not. I'd lease it, as there are currently several attractive leasing offers. But of course, there's a wide selection of good cars in the sporty mid-size SUV segment. So many choices… Technical specifications - Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2.2 Diesel 16V Q4 TI #alfaromeostelvio #stelvio #alfaromeo Engine: 4-cylinder in-line diesel direct injection, all-wheel drive Displacement / Compression ratio: 2143 cc / 15.5:1 Power: 154 kW / 210 hp at 3500 rpm Max. torque: 470 Nm at 1750 rpm Transmission: 8-speed automatic Length x Width x Height: 4687 x 1903 x 1693 mm Wheelbase: 2818 mm Track width (front / rear): 1627 / 1674 mm Turning circle: 12.4 m Approach / Departure angle: 22° / 18° Loading sill height: 700 mm Standing height under tailgate: 1860 mm Luggage compartment volume: 525 to 1600 l Curb weight: 1820 kg Gross vehicle weight rating: 2410 kg Payload: 590 kg Towing capacity (unbraked/braked at 12% gradient): 750 / 2300 kg 0-100 km/h: 6.6 s Top speed: 215 km/h Fuel tank capacity / Range: 58 l / 1054 km NEDC fuel consumption (urban/extra-urban/combined): 6.4 / 4.7 / 5.5 l/100 km CO2 emissions (NEDC): 144 g/km Price: from €57,500 The full report is available at https://der-autotester.de/fahrberichte/ You can find NinaCarMaria at https://www.NinaCarMaria.de Feel free to write to us at [email protected] or use the comment function.
