Testing the Oil Thermostat in your Air-Cooled Porsche Engine
Today it is a short lesson about the oil thermostat. We tested this with a heat gun to see that it started moving at the correct temp, give or take, and that it also closed again. We have seen the use of sealants here and this is a big NO-NO. Please just lubricate the o-ring and tighten it to the correct torques.
