2. Wood Fired Pottery - at Guldagergaard

Wood Fired Pottery is - according to some ceramic artist, the only right way to fire pottery. At least, there is no doubt that the glaze colors created by body reduction (reducing oxygen at 800 degrees C), the flames and the ashes do create very unique and amazing results. In this video you will see how we wood fired pottery at Guldagergaard - Europes largest international Ceramic Research Center. In the first part of the video I will show you how we fired the two wood fired pottery kilns. In the second part we open the kilns - and you will see some of the great wood fired pottery that came out of it. It is the first time I wood fire my own pottery. But it won't be the last. I hope you find inspiration in this video.
