I don't even know where to start. This is just a fracture of the full video. It's now available on Patreon and will go live on rumble january 22nd. While I was putting the finishing touches on it, I noticed some ugly glitches in the audio, so I went back and double-checked the recordings. Sure enough, parts of it sounded suspiciously like AI had been involved in the process of recording the voice. I'm not against using AI in general, but I really wanted these videos to recapture that original feeling from the early Gravemind / late Massive days. So I ended up spending several more nights swapping out a lot of the audio. Of course, changing the audio also altered the dynamics of the video, which then forced me to make some pretty major adjustments elsewhere. Most of the time it's fairly easy to tell whether a voice was actually recorded by a human or just generated with AI assistance — but not always. Long story short: the video took way more effort than I ever expected. It's a good reminder that I really need to listen to every recording properly — with headphones, for a decent amount of time — before moving forward. I hope you're alive and kicking.
