We've arrived at BATANG Station in Central Java province. The Batang station currently in use is a government-built station (Ministry of Transportation). The old Batang station was located to the west of the new Batang station. This relocation was due to limited space at the old Batang station. Therefore, the Batang station was relocated and has a large parking area, making it suitable for serving long-distance trains. Unfortunately, the old Batang station is neglected, even though it is a legacy of the Dutch SCS era.
