Must Watch Before Buying A Used Minolta X-700 Film Camera in 2022! Used Film Camera Buying Tips

TLDR: Don't buy X-700, buy X-500/X-570 instead! If you are thinking about buying a used Minolta X-700 because you saw on YouTube that it was the best camera of its age when it came out in 1981. Yeah, right... it may be the best back in the year 1982... but in the year 2022, most of these cameras (I'm talking about over 80-90% failure rate) will fail and will be time-consuming to properly fix due to the infamous cheap capacitor issue plaguing these cameras. X-570 has the same issue with capacitors but will only require one easy soldering job at the bottom of the camera plate, while X-700 used two cheap capacitors and one on top is impossible to service by yourself.
