Sunny (Bobby Hebb) – 井上銘 May Inoue & Julian Burdock 'London Conversation' two great guitarists play a set of jazz meets blues guitar, live in London 2018. On 26 November 2018 we invited a few friends along to this video shoot at Sway Gallery in London. A few hours before this concert, May and Julian met for the first time and chatted about a set list and jammed through a few songs. This video series in 7 parts is a document of that meeting. Sunny is a very popular song among jazz guitarists with versions by George Benson, Bireli Lagrene, Wes Montgomery and Pat Martino. May Inoue has rearranged this classic guitar favourite. May Inoue is a prominent jazz guitarist in Japan and founder of the enormously popular band 'Stereo Champ'. His guitar influences include Mike Stern, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Grant Green. May has performed onstage with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Kazumi Watanabe and has opened for Mike Stern at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London. Julian Burdock has been a favourite on the UK blues scene for many years. Julian is the guitarist, singer and main songwriter of 24PESOS, one of London’s most unique and exciting and original blues bands. They have so far released 4 critically acclaimed albums.
