Logic Pro for iPad: Do THIS First

Just downloaded Logic Pro for iPad? In this guide I walk through the key steps I think every new user should take the moment they open the app for the first time. We look at the free trial setup and subscription options then move on to installing the essential sound packs that Logic needs to actually run instruments and loops. Next I take a tour through the Learn and Explore section where you can find a full library of interactive lessons that explain the basics including recording tracks editing regions using Live Loops and working with plugins such as Chromaglow Sample Alchemy and Beat Breaker. You will also see how to download extra sound packs and which ones I think are worth grabbing first. Then we look at opening GarageBand projects inside Logic and how AI Session Players can help you build realistic backing parts with very little effort. We also take a look at the different play surfaces for instruments and highlight some of the unique plugins like Beat Breaker and the Quantec Room Simulator along with the built in AI Mastering Assistant.
