At the Bonn Heart Center, we have three cardiac catheterization labs and a hybrid operating room. Cardiac catheterizations, including coronary angiography, stent implantations, heart valve repairs, and implantation of new heart valves (TAVI), are performed here daily. Rebeca Bailon is a registered nurse and leads the nursing team in the cardiac catheterization lab. For the annual Girls & Boys Day, we produced a video in which she explains the various nursing tasks in interventional cardiology. #nursing #cardiaccatheterizationlab #healthandnurses
