We also visited the house of Saint Teresa of the Andes, and of course, I couldn't help but be thrilled to see the largest swimming pool in Chile (and the second largest in the world) in San Alfonso del Mar. It's truly breathtaking! Along the way, we sampled local delicacies like churros filled with dulce de leche (something we don't have in Spain) and classic fried empanadas by the sea. We hiked the magical trails of El Canelo and El Canelillo, explored the rural charm of El Totoral, and ended up at Pablo Neruda's iconic house in Isla Negra.
