こちらは通過シーンに絞った動画集です。 この日は滋賀県北部や関ヶ原などで記録的な大雪となり新幹線・在来線問わずダイヤが大きく乱れていました。 16両全体が見えないほどの降雪になる時間帯も多く、新幹線がかなり接近するまで分からないために雪に向かって撮影し続ける事もありました。 〜〜〜 東海道新幹線は日本の大動脈であり世界初の高速鉄道です。しかし当時の技術、工期、費用などの関係でルートに選ばれた米原や関ヶ原周辺は日本海に近く雪雲が流れ込み豪雪になりやすい環境です。 路線を大きくリフォームすれば雪に強い新幹線にできるのですが、利用者が多すぎるために大規模工事が求められ、利用者が多すぎるために大規模工事で列車を止められないジレンマを抱えています。 現状はスプリンクラーなどで雪を舞い上がらないように対策しているのですが、これはこれで人工的に大雨を起こすような状態になってしまうのでうまくコントロールしないと今度は雨量規制が問題となってしまいます。 東海道新幹線は豪雨や台風の方が影響が大きくなる事が多いですが、実は雪も雨も根本的な問題は同じで「古い設備を工夫して対応できる限界を超えた結果」というケースがあります。 〜〜〜 This is a video including the landing scene.
