BLUE RIVER, THE NOTORIOUS AZUMINI RIVER

Azumini is a town in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia state Nigeria. About 15 miles south of the commercial city of Aba. It is famous for the Azumini Blue River. It is also an ancient slave trade route through the blue river commonly known in local dialect as Mini- Okigo. The Blue River, popularly known as Azumini Blue River is an exotic river in Nigeria that is surrounded by beauty and pleasantness. It's not a hearsay that there is no river as clear as the Azumini river in Nigeria, the Blue river has a name that is as exotic as it is thrilling.
